I crashed really hard on Saturday. On my skate skis. I was going down a steep hill and somehow my skis started to separate, resulting in me taking a header with my legs at full spread eagle around 20-25 mph on a hard pack groomed trail. Bruised ribs, bruised shoulder, and my lower back went into spazims yesterday.
I should stick with Aline skiing, I have no serious injuries from downhill in the last 6 years. The problem with alpine is it’s not a fat burner for me. Oh well.
