Ski Season 2017-2018 Summary

Hello powder hounds, I have summarized my 2017-2018 ski season. It is not over yet, still opportunities for nordic skiing for me.

Days Skied: about 40 alpine, 20-30 times Nordic (skate and classic).

Vertical: 440,000 feet-weak sauce I know I usually book 600,000 or more. I just did more nordic skiing this year.

New gear for me this season:

1. Patagonia Snow shot pants-It’s worth it, Patagonia is the shit. I am planning on getting a Patagonia jacket for next season, my OR shell has 6 years on it and it is showing it’s age.

2. New skis: Head Kore 105 - 189's. Ski of the year for Powder Magazine, I love these skis they are the best all mountain ski I’ve ever had. They are great in soft snow, great in hard snow, just great in snow.
